Owner and CEO at Twin Tree Homes, Zain Dumont, spent his childhood years on a beautiful nine-acre homestead outside Waco. In his family’s backyard stood two majestic pecan trees. “I can still remember climbing one of those trees at night and being able to see the Alico Building when I was a kid,” said Zain fondly. When his father Troy Dumont founded the company, the name “Twin Tree Homes” made perfect sense.
Since our small beginnings in bathroom/kitchen remodels and handicap accessibility makeovers, we’ve gone above and beyond for our clients, whether it’s their first project or their fourth. Our growth has been a product of client referrals.
We not only offer the services necessary for building custom homes, but general contracting and owner’s representation as well. We’re a quality-over-quantity small business and we like it that way; employee turnover is a foreign concept here. Our craftsmanship and integrity are non-negotiable and our communication throughout the building process is what makes us who we are. Building custom homes is what we do best. From ideation to realization, we will walk you through every step of the process.
General Contracting
As your general contractor, Zain will oversee the construction site, manage subcontractors and communicate with all involved parties.
Owner Representation
Need someone to advocate on your behalf during the home building process? Zain can be the man in the middle, so you don’t have to be.
Builder Support
We don’t have to be the primary builder in order to partner with you. We are happy to come alongside another home builder offering services like framing, installation and more.
Meet Our Owner & CEO
“Carpentry has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. At 12 years old, my younger brothers and I, under the direct supervision of my dad, built a 600-square-foot addition to our mobile home. For the next few years, I would travel with my dad on weekends and summer breaks, dismantling historic timber frames in upstate New York and other states,” said Zain Dumont.
When Zain was 17, he began a full-time job with the same company where he stayed for 11 years, working in 46 states and numerous countries, rising to the position of assistant manager. Fast forward to 2015: Zain’s father founded Twin Tree, beginning with kitchen cabinet installations out of the back of a Tahoe. Twin Tree grew steadily into what it is now and Zain took over in 2018.
One of the greatest compliments Zain ever received came when one of his clients said in genuine surprise after learning of Zain’s many projects, “I thought I was your only customer!” Customer relations are at the forefront of Zain’s heart and mind; he always wants his customers to feel this way!
Besides being a professional home builder, Zain is also a dedicated husband, father of two little girls, and a faithful church leader. He feels blessed to have built his family’s home after a process of building and selling a couple of times in recent years.
